The International Language Testing Association (ILTA) has announced that Jayanti (Jay) Banerjee, CaMLA’s research director, has been elected to serve as treasurer of the organization.
ILTA brings together language assessment professionals who are interested in sharing and promoting best practices in the field. Its website provides many resources for researchers and practitioners. ILTA’s annual conference, the Language Testing Research Colloquium (LTRC), presents the most recent developments in the field.
Jayanti oversees research and development activities for all of CaMLA’s testing programs. She has published in the areas of language testing and English for academic purposes. Jay is excited about this opportunity to contribute to ILTA and the profession at large.
